Peaced Together

So, did you think I forgot about updating my blog??! Well, to be honest....yes. (See, at least I didn't lie about it!!) It's been a busy few weeks, and Camilla and Jude keep growing up, despite my asking them not to. lol. So, before she hits her 10 month mark in a few weeks, let's catch you all up on her 8th and 9th month milestones!!!

Just spending some quality time with her pappy....

"Hey Pap, smile for the camera....I know you are getting ready to give my chubby cheeks a kiss, but just wait one second..."

"So, here's my Uncle J. I am smiling.... really I am.....no, wait...I think I want to cry...no, it's a smile. Of course I am always happy to be held by him, but in case you didn't know, he's deploying soon, so it makes me want to cry too! I just love this guy."

Great grandpap hid a donut in his jacket pocket. Well, Jude couldn't turn that down especially with all those rainbow sprinkles!!!

Well, I know it's a bit blurry but this little lady turned 8 months back in April! All I can say is ...HOW?

She's just too cool for words. It's just like when the paparazzi (aka me) comes around......she tries to go unnoticed!! She can't fool me....I would know those roly arms anywhere!!

"Ok, mom, you found me. I should have known I couldn't hide from you!"

"Let's just try a casual pose mom... "

"Is this look too serious?? Well, did you notice Jude's feet in the picture...sorry, but they are a bit distracting...they take away from the main subject..."

"Ok, I will try to give you a few smiles....oh wait, time out....I have to change outfits."

"I'm kind of in a purple mood today...in case you couldn't tell."

Please don't judge me....

"No, mom I'm not eating the sunglasses....I'm going for that model look. You just don't understand me, do you?"

"Is this better?"

Apparently I did her in....lol

Well, we did our best to give my brother (their uncle) a nice farewell, as he deploys for a year to Qatar. We are hoping he may get to come home at least once, but a year...it's just too long (and the kids don't understand I don't want them growing up too much while he's gone! lol)

I think we did pretty good!!!

We made our Mom's day card, so of course I had to torture my kids again, to do something fun for the special ladies in our life.

Happy Mother's Day to me! :) (Jude loves wearing his dad's hat rather than his own!) lol

Despite my hand in my face, I thought Camilla looked cute here!

And yes, we made it to 9 whole months....and she felt it was time to sport some of her bathing suits :)

"Umm, excuse my Jude...I will hold that. I am 9 months, not you. I work alone."

"Jude, why must you always have your foot in my pictures?"

"So, I'm glad you gave me more than your foot this time, and I'm also glad you coordinated your outfit with mine..."

"Hmmmm......these look good..."

"Hey why not? Oh, I forgot mom had that camera...I guess now the whole world knows I tried eating my sandal. This could ruin my reputation."

"Ok, this suit is not as modest. I'm not sure mom if this shows too much skin."

"Oh no, there's that sandal again. I just keep telling myself...do not eat the sandal, do not eat the sandal....." (Oh, the temptation is killing me!)

Well before long this little 22 lb 4 oz sweet girl will be 10 months. That scares me....double digits. I am not ready for the big 1 year, but I guess I have no choice. lol. I added a few pics from my phone (It's always harder to catch my Jude....literally speaking and catching him for a photo is equally as hard)...but he still is my cutie!
