Spring has finally arrived (we think!)!!! Winter has been somewhat long and these two kiddos have grown so much! Camilla turned 7 months on March 14th and she felt it was only fitting that she got her own little black dress (and pearls)! She figured every girl needs one...why not at 7 months!!??? I hate to see what she requests at 8 months! Oh boy!!! haha! This little girl continues to be a pleasant baby...she is sitting up on her own now, finally starting to eat some food (Jude was all about food by 4 months....not her!) and is a little screamer (happy screams, but boy do they hurt the ears if you aren't ready for it!!) Jude continues to be a good big brother, and is just getting so big. Learning to write a few letters, spelling his name as well as other family names like mom and dad. He is very active...enjoys painting, cooking and he is a good worker especially being outside recently - he is quick to help out with his rake and shovel! He is really increasing his vocabulary and is talking so much more! It's so cute listening to him chat away sometimes. Of course we don't know everything he is saying but we do try to decipher!! Well.....I guess on to the show! :)
Her baby blues.....
...and gotta love the arm rolls!! haha.
Just wait until I turn 8 months.....mom is probably afraid I will request diamonds. lol.
Camilla's godparents finally got to come visit along with their own three adorable kids! It was so nice being together.
She got a Christmas gift....I mean a St. Patrick's day gift (since it took so long for us to get together!)!!!
Her godfather Ryan.....
And her godmother Sarah..
Jude is on the job....making sure Camilla is being held appropriately!!
So cute!!
And by the end of the night, all the kids were coloring (so well behaved they were!!)....
And here we are sitting....and eating..I mean playing with Jude's train....
Apparently he doesn't mind.....
Of course we had to attempt some St. Patrick day pictures...
I think he loves her....but just a little...
and I think the feeling is mutual :) (at least for now)
Our Jude is getting so big!
"There, there Milla...it will be ok....I promise Mom will stop taking pictures soon."
"you promise?"
"But Jude, I still see her with that black thing....you say it's called a camera?"
"Ok I will try to smile one more time...this doesn't look fake does it?"
My Jude has really been wanting to help cook, and while some days I might not have the time for it, I really do try to encourage it!
a pinch of salt...
and some pepper....
Another day we made eggplant parm....
Here he is helping coat it in flour.....
dipping it in eggs...
and now ready for the bread crumbs...
He did a fine job!!
Camilla is not quite ready to help...lol
But she says I am much better at sitting still for a photo than her brother! haha.
"But I have to sit and smile as well?"
"Ok, I can give it a try."
Happy now?
Jude's cousin Eve was in from Michigan. She spent the night and read tons of books to Jude. If Jude had his way, she would have slept over every night!!
real buddies!
we tried a few group shots....
Poor Eve got her hair pulled by Camilla but stayed smiling!
Easter with my family on Saturday. Of course Jude's favorite person....my brother. Speaking of, I do ask prayers for him as he will be deploying in about two weeks, and is scheduled to be gone a year. This will be his longest deployment for him and us :( It's really not going to be same without him around, but he is a brave soul and we are very proud of him!
Despite the windy conditions, the sun was out and we had an egg hunt for Jude....
he just loves doing these!
One egg even blew over into the garden....where I believe my Pap's garlic is coming up!
Hey stickers!!! (Notice anything odd about this pic?..well, if you really look you will notice Jude was so excited to get outside, he put his shoes on the wrong feet!!!)
Jude and Uncle J being silly jumping around!
Hey more stickers up on this stump....
And pap had to get the rake down for Jude to grab a treat hanging from it.
Time to come inside now!
"Don't anybody think about taking my Lucky Charms." lol
Realxing with dad!
Hey, did you know I was here? (always the photographer....never photographed unless I do it myself!) haha
Uncle Lynn and Camilla
and thinking it was ok....
Jude the dude without a shirt on (he takes after his dad)...lol....here he is dipping a paw patrol dog into his milk. Apparently the dog was thirsty. Personally I would rather dip an oreo, but who am I to judge?
"purple" (that's what Jude calls my grandma) and Camilla
My little ballerina....she was happy to start stripping down for pj time apparently. She on the other hand will not be allowed to take after her dad (in terms of not wearing a shirt! haha)
hanging with Nana
and Uncle J...
It was her first Easter...
and I think she was pleased!
Mr. Jude decided to take Uncle J's beanie!
Sunday morning Jude had to find each basket....he found Camilla's first
Then his.....
Some pics with daddy...
and mommy....
and the two of them...
matching hats...
After Mass.....this was Jude "smiling". lol
This was Jude not smiling. haha. Have to take what we can get!
And just a few random shots....
He loves music!!!!
Hope you all enjoyed! I do try to get up on this monthly as with two kiddos, there are two many pictures to post if I wait to long. If you remember my Christmas post.....lol....some of you might still be trying to finish it.....Thanks for taking the time to share in our joy!!! Many blessings as you enjoy the Easter Season! Christ is Risen! Alleluia!!!
