So, my good friend reminded me today that she was waiting for her Christmas pics...I thought her card got lost in the mail until she said..."not those pics...your blog pics". Oh, ok....I get the hint. It's been days, weeks....months....in fact, it's now an entirely different year! I promised her I would get on it, and I did. The holidays went by so fast this year. I don't even think I took nearly as many pics as I normally would. (maybe only 50 vs the normal 200...lol) Maybe it's the holidays and maybe it's because Jude never sits still. lol. He is ALL BOY! Jumping on his dad like a wrestler (maybe he's been to one too many high school wrestling matches to see his cousin)...playing with his trucks.....playing basketball...
He is still an overall good kid....he is definitely two though...he has his moments...tantrums...fits...whatever you choose to call them. lol. Needless to say, when he's smiling... he can light up the room. :) He is still not talking a lot, but he is definitely expanding his vocabulary and trying more. He says things like "crash" (of course when his trucks tip over or when he decides to sit on his motorcycle and just fall over....did I mention he's a daredevil already?), "smell" when he sees the garbage trucks or he needs a diaper changed. He also says things like hot, mom, dad, and ice. He is in the process of being potty trained. I had him in underwear a few days just for a few hours at a clip for him to get the feel of them. I don't think it will be too much longer until he gets the hang of it. So, enough of me rambling....onto the pictures....
Aaron and I took him to Chuck E. Cheese on his actual birthday since his party wasn't for another week or so....he had a blast!
A friend of ours from church made Jude a pre-birthday party cake! I don't think he complained about that!
Now onto party day at our house....here was one of the 3 cakes I made him.
Spending time with Nana before the party..
The orange cone cookies I baked...Aaron made me a cookie cutter shaped like an orange construction cone....it worked great!
cake number 3....He was worth it!
Jude with Pap-Pap
He LOVED blowing the candles out. I think we sang and let him blow his candles out at least 6 times!
looking shy
"Are you guys singing to me again? Thanks."
Just one of the tools he got....Thank heavens for safety goggles!!!
Pappy and Jude open a gift....
Us.....
Our big boy!!!
Well, right after his birthday, we got him set up in a big boy bed. He has been doing great...growing up too fast!!!
"Not yet mom....I didn't even get to look at my hair. Please don't take my picture."
Happy Thanksgiving from Jude (sorry for the missing pants, but this happens a lot.) :)
Ready to jump on dad!!! Hope dad is ready...
mmmmmm.......
And while our whole family couldn't be together on Thanksgiving....here was one of our best gifts. Skyping with Justin (who is now home safely...Praise God!) in Afghanistan!
"Hey Mom, I like that one!"
And of course he helped us clean up all the pine needles after getting it up! What a helper!
Finished product!
So I got home in December to see a dear friend of mine along with her newest baby, her two daughters and her mom.....what a great time we had!!
What wonderful hostesses they were!
This kid loves his sweets...did I mention that yet???
He also loves babies....he wanted to hold Macklin and then tried to push my friend's arm away as if to tell her "I've got him. Relax." haha.
Yep, he gave him kisses....
The young girls put on a fashion show for us with all their new clothes!
So, all ready for Christmas Eve Mass.....someone decided to stuff their face with chocolate covered raisins first....
Then try and give me a big smile! haha
Jude and George come downstairs....George is Jude's buddy. He takes George everywhere (Jude can pretty much say "George"!!)
Jude and his daddy....
Big hugs!!!
Jude really enjoyed playing with his cousin Eve...in fact, Jude didn't want me in the room...apparently he is already too cool for mom. haha.
Jude and his Aunt Holli......
Peace on earth...
And finally these are just a few pics of the almost completed room at our other property...it is slowly coming along!
The start of the second room, and trust me a lot of progress is almost done!
One of my favorite pictures of Jude I captured in the snow...what an expression!!!
He chose to pull an empty sled rather than be pulled! lol
CHEESE!!!
I think someone has their seasons confused...haha.
Well, there you have it! I didn't get a chance to show you any of my business pictures. (Next time!!) My jewelry continues to take off! I was the top seller at Art Works in Johnstown in the month of December! Exciting! I sold a lot....in fact I was actually burned out in January and needed a break but now I am gearing up for a wine festival I will be at on Saturday February 15th at UPJ. It is sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul and it is to help raise money for their kitchen. If you want information or tickets, let me know....it is a great cause to support! I just finished up making some beautiful wine bottle stoppers out of old doorknobs. They have been greatly received!!! I am already taking orders!!!
